Dinner with the Richs
On Saturday night Jordan and Stacy were in town. They came over to our neighborhood to have dinner. Natalie did great at dinner eating and making faces at Stacy. After her bath she had a great story time with Jordan. So nice to hang out with them for the night. Thank you coming to see us.

Stalking the Pooch
Natalie spends a great deal of her time exploring our home through the act of rolling and spinning on the hardwood. Through these calculated moves she has figured out she can go after Ali. When the pooch is in sight she lets out high pitched squeals of joy. Here's a couple pictures from this morning.
In other news, we are exploring pulling up on things. We're not there yet but she sure loves standing and holding onto things. It's just a matter of time before she connects the dots.

Mother's Day Weekend
This past weekend we attended Ben and Melissa's wedding back in Michigan. Thursday night we stayed with Grandma Helen and Grandpa Arza in Jackson. On Friday morning we headed over to Northville so Aunt Brynn and Uncle Phil could get acclimated on baby things.
Philip and I headed to rehearsal dinner on Friday night and it sounds like Natalie had a fun time with her godparents. I came back Friday night so to spend sometime with Natalie on Saturday before the wedding. We had a nice morning and great breakfast made by Uncle Phil.
Saturday afternoon I left for the wedding and my first overnight away. Thank you Brynn and Phil for making me feel so comfortable leaving. I was able to enjoy the wedding and reception and avoid any worry or tears.
Sunday I woke up to a great picture of Natalie holding a Happy Mother's Day sign. We went to the post wedding brunch and got back to our little lady and a nice BBQ lunch put on by Aunt Brynn and Uncle Phil. Grandma and Grandpa Dilloway were down for the evening so they came over for a bit to celebrate Mother's Day as well. It was a short few hours but so great to see them.
Sunday late afternoon we packed up and headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had a great dinner, thank you Grandma for making Mac and cheese, Natalie is a huge fan. We had a nice relaxing evening and Monday morning before heading back to Chicago. And thank you again for hanging the swing, Natalie loves it.
Thank you to our hosts for having all of us and dealing with our crazy schedule this weekend. We appreciate the babysitting and pictures Brynn and Phil. It was so nice to celebrate Ben and Melissa, Mother's Day and seeing our moms on their day. Lastly, a thank you to Philip. He made Mother's Day morning so nice with breakfast in bed and a beautiful bracelet. It was hard not to be around Natalie Sunday morning but you certainly made me feel better, I love you.

Puppy Love
Natalie grows increasingly aware and fond of Ali everyday. Eating can be a challenge when Ali is insight. She'll twist her body to get the best view she can of her pup.

Dining al fresco
The weather was finally nice enough to sit outside on the deck for dinner tonight. Of course with that came lots of distractions from eating but it was great to be outside.
